COMBAT WARRIORS INC

Our organization is a 100% volunteer-based organization that is committed to serving our Combat Veterans and their families. We do this through organizing/hosting outdoor events for them. We offer a place and space for healing/laughter in the awe and reflection of the great outdoors. We use donated funds in several ways to help Combat Veterans and their families. While majority of the funds are used to host events, we also reach out financially in times of need for those soldiers we have come to know. We step in and help widows get back on their feet when we lose our Warriors. We help their children in times of need and assist with many financial needs. We use our relationships that are forged at these incredible events to form a support network for our Warriors. We have a very close relationship with our nations Special Operations Community, with them being the majority of our guests on these events. Currently we have five chapters nationwide they are Northern Arizona, East Texas, Nebraska, Wyoming and the founding chapter here in North Carolina. We are seeking support from individuals and businesses so we can grow and continue to support our Warriors who have paid the toll for our freedom. A toll measured by both body and soul that only they can understand. We embrace the reality that no civilian can know the trials and tribulations faced daily by our Warriors, but we do know the healing power of laughter and sharing a sunrise over the Ocean, listening to a Gobbler sing his hymn on a spring morning, or the whistling wings of a wood duck over flooded timber. It is hard to quantify the value of being able to open a soul that’s been closed off to the outside world. A soul surrounded by a shell, one built by carrying the burdens of war.
