Comfy Community is a nomadic community center, focused on providing community care in a comfortable way. We help our community of creative young adults (18-35) with their identity formation, strengthening their social safety net, preventing mental health issues and their self-development in the broadest sense.
Raised in African collectivist cultures, we’ve experienced the power of strong communities growing up. Our parents - as first generation labor migrants - have set up their own communities with related spirits of all backgrounds. Our mothers worked and started non-profit foundations aimed at empowering their local neighborhoods. As a result, we grew up in community centers; these hold a special place in our hearts.
