There are REITS that allow retail investors the opportunity to invest in real estate with minimal funds but a recent MSCI U.S. REIT Index report stated that the five-year return of U.S. REITS was at 7.58%, well below our projected returns. We're combining our institutional underwriting and valuation experience with our architectural design skills to deliver a product to the market that is and will be in demand for years to come - well designed and innovative single-family rentals. Many small landlords have enjoyed the returns of single-family rentals for years. Unfortunately, not everyone has the desire to become a landlord. It’s a full time job and not everyone enjoys the role. It is also difficult to diversify and scale with a personal balance sheet. Common Dwelling solves this by aggregating funds and spreading risk across a large portfolio of homes.
