As a practice, we at Common Threads Studio encourage working together to create impactful and mindful art through experiments and explorations. Our close-knit team consists of dynamic individuals with unique skills and capabilities collaborating under one space. The collective insights with different approaches, methodology, and perspective are crucial to the artistic process. The waste that is generated from our experiments is hardly neglected. Fabric scraps, handspun paper, plastic, beads, wire and tea bags are some of the found material we work with. Hands-on work is an essential part of the day to day activities, with slow and conscious art forming the crux of our creative endeavours.
