About CommUnify

Community Action Commission of Santa Barbara County is now CommUnify. With this new identity comes a refreshed strategic plan that allows us to further our commitment to UNIFY the whole COMMUNITY to address inequalities. CommUnify is a nonprofit organization that works collaboratively with the community to find innovative solutions to assist Santa Barbara County residents in living healthy, resilient and financially secure lives. We offer a variety of education and support services aimed at promoting the independence of individuals of all ages. CommUnify: • Assists over 12,000 individuals in Santa Barbara County each year • Operates 24 Head Start and Early Head Start Centers • Serves over 350,000 healthy meals to low-income children and seniors annually • Provides utility assistance services to over 1400 low-income households per year • Provides mentorship to over 5500 youth and young adults • Operates Santa Barbara County's 2-1-1 Health & Human Services Resource Helpline (www.211sbco.org) • & much more!
