CommuniMatch is an online platform that matches students with opportunities based on interest, age, and preferred time frame. Volunteering has always been an essential aspect of a strong community. This has especially held true during the COVID-19 pandemic, with volunteering showing itself to be an essential facet of rebuilding our economy and helping those who have been hit hardest. Unfortunately, even in the ever-connected world in which we live, many students still struggle to find volunteer opportunities well suited for them. With their schools promoting certain organizations to everyone, students often end up volunteering without passion with the simple goal of achieving the volunteering hours that some diplomas require. By creating a website accessible for both students and organizations, we can connect these two parties, thereby providing students with a variety of opportunities directly uploaded by organizations.
