Community 1st Foundation

Community 1st Foundation is a for-impact, non-profit organization partnering with members from marginalized communities to build leadership and advocacy. We provide access to life-skills opportunities through various programs for children, youth, and parents by building 5 competencies (namely Consciousness, Critical Thinking, Courage, Collaboration, and Creativity). We use the medium of Visual Arts & Performing Arts to develop these skills in children from low-income private schools and at our community center. We use 3 major thematic areas while driving for these competencies namely Discrimination, Gender Violence, and Drug Abuse.
