Community Development and Environmental Protection Organization (CDEPO) was established in 2012 in Afghanistan by a group of passionate individuals dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of their communities. Since its inception, CDEPO has been a leading force in humanitarian and development efforts, focusing on emergency response, livelihood support, and social advocacy. CDEPO's mission is multifaceted, encompassing activities such as advocating for the rights of marginalized groups, particularly women and children affected by conflict and crises. The organization is committed to shifting repressive gender norms and promoting non-violent conflict resolution to create a more inclusive and peaceful society. With a deep understanding of local culture and government policies, CDEPO has forged strong partnerships with local humanitarian agencies. This collaborative approach ensures that interventions are culturally sensitive and effectively address the needs of the most vulnerable.
