Community Emergency Service is a nonprofit crisis relief and empowerment ministry that serves Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs.
Mission
Community Emergency Service is dedicated to assisting community members in meeting basic physical, emotional and spiritual needs in a warm, accepting, and Christ-like manner.
CES primary offers emergency aid in the areas of food, housing, transportation and utilities. Additionally, CES operates a mobile food shelf in North Minneapolis.
CES also provides Meals on Wheels, Fare for All, telephone answering service and free legal counsel. If CES is unable to help clients with a specific need, we will refer the client to another agency that will be able to help them.
