Community Foundation for Brevard

Since 1981, the Community Foundation for Brevard has been connecting the passions of philanthropists with the purposes of nonprofits doing that work. We partner with individuals, families and businesses to create charitable funds to help them realize their philanthropic vision. Our donors give many different types of assets to the Community Foundation to create their own fund or support our funds, which are carefully invested to allow for grants in perpetuity. Often, our donors establish a fund to create a personal legacy, share family philanthropy, and make an impact in their hometown. Giving to causes they believe in makes an impact in the community, is satisfying, and creates a personal legacy. We have granted more than $21 million to nonprofits in the areas of arts and culture, community and social services, health, education, animal welfare, environment, and others.
