Wat
Community Gent is het samenwerkingsplatform in de stad Gent met haar organisaties en instellingen uit de Gentse wereld van onderwijs en wetenschap, cultuur, economie, zorg en sport.
• Community Gent is een onafhankelijke groep mensen, korte lijnen, vlakke structuur
• CG is GEEN vereniging, maar een partnership met de stad om van Gent en onze Provincie een nog betere plaats te maken
• Provincie? Gent als een centrale hub/magneet – in-en uitgaande beweging
Twee doelstellingen
① dialoog versterken tussen de belanghebbenden onderling alsook met de stad Gent en haar regio en dit door kennisdeling en het verbinden van organisaties;
② als city challenger een klankbordfunctie te vervullen t.a.v. het stadsbeleid
Community Gent (DCG) is een organisatie die als hoofdtaak heeft Gentenaars (of “Gent gebruikers”) te verbinden rond één centraal gegeven:
Gent nóg beter maken dan nu om in te wonen, leven, werken.
