Through our innovative, self-sustaining franchise model, we employ and empower community members to: ✅Collect and authenticate localised data within their communities; ✅Update community disaster risk profiles, which are integrated into government disaster risk profiles; ✅Monitor pre-determined disaster risk-related indicators at a community level; ✅Support community awareness initiatives; ✅Assist in communicating early warning messages to everyone in your neighbourhood; ✅Act as first responders by helping communities respond to and recover from disasters; ✅Provide feedback on the impact of early warnings issued; and ✅Provide feedback on the impact of Disaster Risk Reduction initiatives. Revenue generated through our community value-add products, services and reward programmes allows us to create employment opportunities in a space that often relies on unpaid volunteers.
