Community Talk seeks to address the problem of inadequate access to information for the citizens of Zimbabwe and lack of informed decision making, with a focus of humanitarian information drawn from marginalized communities.
The goal is to contribute to a democratic, well informed society capable of demanding accountability from policy makers and other duty bearers.
Specifically, Community Talk Trust facilitate citizens’ increased access to information and strengthen their participation in decision making.
There are three expected outcomes namely: increased quality and quantity of community reporting, increased awareness among citizens for informed decision making, and enhanced participation of community-based organizations and their constituencies in local and national policy making and review process.
