Since 1993, CVM has provide low-income, homeless and otherwise "phoneless" people with free voice mail services. More than 40,000 people each year use our phone numbers when they apply for jobs or housing, and to stay in touch with case manager, doctors, friends, family and other important people. CVM numbers are provided to clients via a network of 2,000 social service agencies in 45 U.S. cities. Local managers in each city also send broadcast voice and email messages to CVM clients, informing them about employment opportunities, resources, events, health care information, and other valuable information.
It's a simple, cost-effective solution to a basic problem, and it works. 70% of our clients achieve their stated goals while using their CVM voice mail box.
