Saving money and resources, together. Since 2008, the CWC has trained volunteers as Energy Coaches, providing free home energy audits, or tune-ups, to utility-burdened residents in Alachua County, Florida. Energy Coaches review utility bills, work with residents and learn how they use their home, and install energy-saving LED light bulbs, water-saving shower heads, faucet aerators, pipe insulation and more. Residents save an average of $250-$300/year following our tune-ups, while conserving 1,600 kilowatt hours of energy, and 6,200 gallons of fresh water. We've helped empower over 2,000 families since our start, creating more disposable income for our community members in need and a healthier planet. Join us!
