We believe nobody should go through life alone. When children grow up in foster care, they have many experiences. Some of them are negative, some of them are positive, but being removed from one’s biological family is a traumatic loss.
This initiative is about building permanency and social support. We don’t want any young person to walk through life alone. Community of Hope is the lead organization working to build an expanded movement of support through the use of The Open Table model. We will serve young adults and young families impacted by foster care and formerly homeless youth.
