Compai - Smart Home Composting

We are passionate about composting, a solution to managing organic wastes and their contribution to climate change, so we co-founded Compai, a social innovation to develop a “Smart Home Composting” system. Starting from an eighth grade science fair project, this idea grew into a solar-powered digital sensor device and a smartphone app to make composting easier, engaging, and even fun. Like a “Fitbit” for your compost, our Smart Home Composting system is designed to help families, schools, and community groups adopt on-site composting, supporting our vision of helping one million new families to start composting.
