Design Associates Inc. We believe that raw built mass transmutes to architecture only when it is underpinned by reason and animated by ideals. Concepts like sustainability, accessibility and economy are intrinsic to our rigorous design process and while we dovetail our strategy with our clients vision, what we value and nurture most is that creative spark which introduces the element of delight into design. Tradition, Context - Physical or Social, Faith, Aspiration, Material, Longevity, even bare function have all been determinants in our design process, however an overarching civic vision has meant that our architecture has remained both contextual and responsive. While we have integrated digital technology into the design process and at times express it in architectural form, we are equally able to embrace tradition and showcase it in our work - be it by adopting traditional building typologies, construction technology, materials and craft skills. In the process, we have over the years, built a diverse and extensive portfolio of projects ranging from Healthcare, Key Government Buildings, Monuments, Educational, Urban Design, Landscape, Commercial & Offices, Paramilitary, Heritage & Tourism and Housing & Residential to Interior and Product Design.
