Compass Coffee is an award-winning and fast-growing company dedicated to Real Good Coffee, Made in D.C. It operates multiple cafes in the D.C. metro area and roasts coffee for many leading restaurants, hotels, and government institutions. The company was founded in 2013 by Michael Haft and Harrison Suarez, two former Marines whose love of coffee and community led them to found Compass Coffee in the historic Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Compass Coffee's mission is to make people's days better. It is organized around four core values: - Real Good Coffee - Always Find a Way - Build Your City - Everybody Cleans With seven cafés open, and many more under active development, Compass Coffee is currently focused on building core capabilities in its team, strengthening its culture, and maintaining its reputation for excellent quality and legendary customer service.
