Compass, Map & Key

Compass, Map, and Key (CM&K) design accessible tools for creator- driven transmedia and immersive experiences, with a strong focus on location-based and live events. By leveraging ethical AI and XR/AR technologies, CM&K empowers storytellers, extending human creativity rather than replacing it. Inspired by the idea that AI can act as a “bicycle for creative minds, ” CM&K equips creators to explore archives, spark ideas, and accelerate the development of innovative formats. Building on expertise gained through Fictioneers’ participation in UKRI programs—Audience of the Future (2018–22) and Amplifying Imagination (2024)—CM&K is developing scalable storytelling infrastructure for the UK creative industries.
