Compass Training Consultants Ltd (CTC) is a U.K. based Consultancy Company who develop, design & deliver bespoke, tailor-made investigative training products to Law Enforcement Agencies within the British Mainland & on the Global stage. The Lead Trainer has 30 years investigatory experience serving in the role of Detective Investigator & Detective Supervisor in the largest Police Service in the U.K. (The Metropolitan Police), on Regional and International Task Units & working internationally within Covert Policing. He has now spent the last 5 years as a College of Policing (CoP) Accredited Trainer & Assessor and holds qualifications in Coaching & Mentoring to add to this Company's many facets. He holds a Diploma as a Trainer, is the recipient of the Professionalising Investigation Programme in Serious & Complex Crime at both Investigation & the supervision & management in those areas. He is officially recognised as a Practitioner in Immersive Learning concepts & techniques , as a Trainer of Trainers and is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) U.K. During the last 5 years of his Policing career Darin has been the Lead Crime Trainer in a Police Force in Wales. He has had lead responsibility for the development & roll out of all Investigative Training in that Force & has developed links across the region and Nationally . He has rolled out investigative interviewing training to outside stake-holders too , presenting to Local Authorities within this specialism and Family Liaison. He has spoken & delivered training in Force & to the Crown Prosecution Service, members of the U.K. Judiciary giving the Police perspective on the Disclosure of Material. He has been recognised as a Leading Subject Matter Expert. He has been successful in becoming an Associate Trainer with the College of Policing & has just returned from Sierra Leone assisting with delivery of a Train the Trainer model. This course has recently received praise form Amnesty International
