Compassion is a Christ-centered, child-focused, church-driven organization dedicated to serving children and youth living in poverty. Globally, the organization has been in existence for over 70 years. In Kenya, it is duly registered with the Public Benefits Organizations Regulatory Authority (PBORA) and has continued to provide transforming interventions for over 40 years.
Compassion Kenya has been a leader in holistic child and youth development since 1980 and currently serves nearly 140,000 children and youth across 31 counties, partnering with over 470 churches from various denominations.
Accredited KCS Level 1 certification in Child Protection from Keeping Children Safe, Compassion has been recognized for its efforts in child protection and safeguarding. Our advocacy focuses on ensuring that each child is protected from abuse and exploitation – every child must be known, loved, and protected.
