In 2015, the doors to Competitive EDGE Physical Therapy opened, and the space consisted of a treadmill, a single PT table, a few weights, and Dr. Kevin Vandi — the man who started it all.
Kevin had worked in a traditional physical therapy setting for years, and his experience led him to realize how the traditional treatment model neglected to provide TRUE solutions for his patients.
So, he set out to make a change and create a place where clients could receive the time and individualized attention that was not only deserved, but necessary to heal effectively and prevent future injury. He wanted PEOPLE to be the center of the practice…
And just like that, Competitive EDGE was born as a place where relationships could be built on mutual trust and shared goals, therapists had the time to educate and empower their clients, and above all else, the data and research-backed treatment dictated the course of treatment.
While the fundamentals of human movement and healing haven’t changed dramatically in the last few decades, our ability to measure that healing and speed it up with actual, real-life data has.
And we believe it’s time that capability was used to help people heal faster, create stronger mind-body connections, and — most importantly — reclaim the movements that are most important to each person’s life.
We’ve incorporated research-grade technology into our treatment to provide a more complete picture of movement, leading to more accurate diagnoses, a streamlined treatment process, and
the most efficient pathway back to healthy movement and pain-free activity.
