ComplexSimplex

Welcome to the LinkedIn page of ComplexSimplex! We are a team of researchers with heterogeneous backgrounds that collaborate on different research lines in complex systems science and on theoretical physics, chemistry, and biology. We are currently working on the research project PRG1059 "The Role of Learning in Language Competition" supported by the Estonian Research Council. This is an interdisciplinary project, which employs the tools of complex systems to tackle linguistic problems. Our work extends towards various directions - complex systems, statistical mechanics, dynamical systems, social physics, linguistics, numerical simulations, many-agents models. Among the other problems studied by our group, there is the dynamics of cell-network, classical and quantum stochastic processes, resonant response of noisy/heterogeneous systems (e.g. stochastic and diversity-induced resonance); role of noise and diversity in power-law formation; cultural dynamics; natural selection and evolution in heterogeneous complex systems.
