Compress and Shock Foundation

Sudden cardiac arrest happens to anyone, anywhere, and at any time during life, affecting 350,000 people outside of the hospital setting every year. Given the fact that current survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest is less than 10%, we whole-heartedly believe that preparation can be the difference between life and death. OUR MISSION We were founded with the vision of establishing a National CPR and AED education day. OUR GOAL Each year, on the Second Saturday of May, we will provide chest-compression only CPR and AED education to fitness facilities around the country. This year our goal is to involve 25 fitness facilities and teach 50 learners per site. Each subsequent year we aim to double facility participation.
