Comptran Engineering and Planning Associates Limited Ghana, was established in 1989 as a subsidiary of The Consortium for Innovations in Human Settlements Development (CIHSD) to provide consultancy services in Civil and Transportation Engineering and Planning. Comptran is now one of the major engineering and planning consultancies in Ghana, with a strong national and international record of experience in a variety of projects. Comptran is engaged in consulting tasks within numerous areas of the development of modern society. The main activities are, however, still the traditional consulting disciplines in relation to infrastructure development. Comptran is committed to providing functionally efficient and environmentally responsible planning and engineering services, using state-of-the-art technology to give the most cost effective solutions consistent with approved standards and local needs.
