Developing and manufacturing medical devices for Transcranial Doppler Sonography (TCD) is the core competence of Compumedics Germany GmbH.
We have been working at the highest level of innovation on further developing and perfecting transcranial Doppler sonography for many years. The Doppler diagnostic methods have been able to maintain their position due to the low costs, the expressive reports for findings, the continuous monitoring in real time, the emboli detection and differentiation and last but not least, the special functional tests. Right from our beginnings in 1991, Doppler sonography has become more flexible, more efficient and more user friendly with every new DWL system generation.
Installed in more than 120 countries worldwide our systems are nowadays used in numerous and often life-saving applications. Our headquarters in Singen, near Lake Constance in the tri-border region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, reflects two main aspects of our self-image: on the one hand, our strong roots in the German engineering tradition and on the other hand, looking beyond the national horizon to the global application of Doppler sonography.
