Computer Vision & Data Science

The Computer Vision & Data Science professorship is a nationally recognized center of expertise in pattern recognition and image processing, advancing artificial intelligence in the Netherlands for over 25 years. Our mission is to empower everyone’s strengths by solving diverse research challenges in image data analysis, with applications from smart farming to medical imaging, through collaboration with students, faculty, and industry experts. Our four key focus areas are high-performance image acquisition, applied computer vision, advanced data science, and specialized education. This education comes in the form of minors, internships, and a master's program in Computer Vision & Data Science. Each designed to equip students with specialized, industry-ready skills in computer vision and image data analysis.
