Computers Plus, Inc. was incorporated on December 10, 1980. The formation was spurred by a need for computers and software programs for school systems around the country. Soon after, Computers Plus created PRINCIPAL, an administrative software package that allowed school system administrators to create and track: Student Databases, Discipline Reports, Attendance Records, Student Progress, and The Hot Lunch Program. PRINCIPAL was written in conjunction with Epson QX-10 Computers. Later, a student scheduling program was added.
