Digital T Level Longsands

The Computer Science Department at Longsands Academy is headed by Claire Chilton and an excellent team of subject specialists. They have proudly introduced the first T Level at the academy - Digital T Level in Production, Design and Development. They have some excellent industry partners currently supporting the first cohort including MASS Consultants Ltd, ABB and Bidwells. They also benefit greatly from strong working relationships with Picotech, Lilac James and iDASH and Magenisis. The department are keen to build wider business links across the region. MASS Consultants Ltd are the primary business support and have worked closely with the department for several years and were a close ally in setting up the T Level from day one. MASS have helped to construct and furnish a dedicated Cyber Lab on the school site and visit weekly to deliver workshops to the students.
