STERIFLASH™ machinery uses a thermal process (steam) which replaces the inadequate incineration normally used as a solution to remove HHCW. STERIFLASH™ technology first shreds HHCW reducing its volume and then treats the waste through a controlled Temperature and Pressure cycle with saturated steam, hence gaining efficiency. Thus the HHCW are processed at the nearest possible site where are generated, with a very environmentally friendly, healthcare-risk reducing and economically efficient method
