With over 25 years of materials science background and a long history in utilising 3D printing for competitive advantage we offer more than just a 3D printing service. At Conceptual Manufacturing, we utilise the latest technology in continuous fiber 3D printers and metal additive manufacturing (coming 2019) to produce functional parts - from prototype to fully functional part which can be used directly in your process. We work with you to optimize your design, reduce costs, shorten delivery times and reduce stock holdings available through this technology. Our printers are commercial grade, allowing us to offer manufacturing of 3D printed functional parts in delivery times and at costs better than traditional manufacturing methods. Unlike most fiber based 3D printed objects which use chopped strands to add some additional strength, our printer lays down long lengths of continuous fiberglass, Kevlar or carbon fiber strands inside the Onyx (Nylon based) matrix to give exceptional design freedom and manufacturing strength, approaching that of aircraft grade aluminium with the correct combinations. Step sizes of 0.1mm produces a part with high tolerances for engineering requirements and an outstanding surface finish.
