The Concourse Group

We create and strengthen small businesses in New York City by providing supporting networks, strategic guidance, and access to affordable capital. The Concourse Group is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit microfinance organization based in The Bronx that fosters and accelerates entrepreneurship in low-income communities. Concourse is comprised of three elements: 3-Day Startup, Consulting, and Funding that work sequentially to accomplish Concourse's purpose. The Concourse sequence begins with a 3-Day Startup — an intensive weekend event where prospective entrepreneurs work to develop businesses. After the event, Concourse vets and selects individual participants or businesses to consult for a four-month term with growth in mind. The goal of the four-month process is to prime enterprises for funding and once they are deemed ready, Concourse explores and assists in the procurement of the most favorable financing options for its clients.
