Established over 50 years ago, in February 1968 by Francesco Bongiovanni, Concrete Structure was initially engaged in road works within Zimbabwe, focusing on bridge building and heavy concrete works. In 1990, when Francesco retired, his son Vittorio took over the running of the company and transformed the business from construction to transport. Initially the company operated tipper trucks, involved in road works and the haulage of aggregate from quarries within Zimbabwe but has shifted its core business over the years to emerge as a leading cross border operator specialising in the transportation of bulk fuel, break-bulk and containerised general cargo throughout the Southern Africa region.
