Welcome to Conexa. We are a non profit with a mission to develop localized healing resources in mental and relational health in every community, with an emphasis on increasing resources in communities of need.
Powerful systemic models of therapy that are incredibly effective in treating trauma, family issues, and are more culturally adaptive are most often very expensive, not covered by insurance, and require a tremendous amount of time, money and energy to be adequately trained in. With a lack of affordability and accessibility, they are almost entirely unavailable to low-income communities and cultural communities speaking different languages.
Literally less than 5% of the world's population. This is not okay.
Conexa believes that by collaborating with local organizations and leaders as well as training and developing local professionals, we can not only address this disparity but transform entire communities with powerful systemic models.
