A place where Subcontractors and Suppliers can advertise / outline their capabilities and the locations they operate in; which not only increases accessibility, but also saves time and money for the companies searching for them. Alan comes from 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong affinity for business and innovation. He originally came up with the idea while working on site during his time with a large retail construction company; spending hours on the phone to Subcontractors and Suppliers alike only to find that this construction job was too large for them. Alan was not only wasting his own time, but also unintentionally costing the project and the company unnecessary money. Well, you know what they say? The best ideas are born out of frustration. Alan came up with the idea of a one-stop-shop, where Subcontractors can create and edit their own profile, ultimately keeping the information more up to date than the usual internal database systems that rely on the owner to keep other companies info up to date. So, came about the database now known as Connect Construct; Connecting Construction – Building Australia.
