Connect Robotics

Connect Robotics develops transport systems using drones. It is currently focused on the health industry, mainly for the transport of medicines, blood samples, and other solutions that meet the transport requirements of medicines and biological substances. Main milestones: - The first demonstration of the solution in December 2016, with food delivery in Portugal. - First authorization from ANAC (Civil Aviation Authority) to realize flights BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) in January 2017. - First delivery beyond the line of sight in Lisbon (Lisbon), between the CTT distribution center in Cabo Ruivo and the CTT headquarters at Parque das Nações, in May 2017. - Member of MIT Portugal BGI program, with part of the training in Portugal and part in Boston, USA, at the MIT. - Member of European Space Agency's Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC) and the IoT SOUL-FI accelerator. - Member of inRes program of Carnegie Mellon Portugal, including 7 weeks of customer discovery in the US. - The first contract for the transition from pilot to regular operation in transportation with Farmácia da Lajeosa. - Received the award João Cordeiro of Innovation from ANF (Portuguese national pharmacies association). - Grants from the ESA SPARK program and PT2020.
