The mission of ConnecT1D is to connect people living with Type 1 Diabetes through programs, social networking, educational meetings and support activities at every stage of their lives.
ConnecT1D is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating virtually with its core volunteers operating in the greater-Seattle, Washington area.
Since 2011, ConnecT1D has grown into a regional organization for the Type 1 Diabetes community reaching nearly 2,000 individuals impacted by the disease. ConnecT1D currently operates volunteer-led programs including Family Camp, Community D-Meetups, Team ConnecT1D, Adult T1 Social Group, GetFit, Teen Group, Tween Group and Parent Support Group. Our website lists ConnecT1D events – as well as events from JDRF, ADA, BRI, PNDRI and other diabetes organizations – and reaches more than 4,500 unique visitors each month.
