Connect 2 Change is a nonprofit organization based in Greater Sacramento, dedicated to providing immediate shelter and comprehensive support to women escaping sex trafficking. Founded by Emily, a survivor and advocate, our mission is to offer a safe haven and empower women through personalized peer support and essential resources.
At Connect 2 Change, we bridge the gap between crisis intervention and long-term recovery. We collaborate closely with local organizations to ensure suitable placements in shelters or programs tailored to the needs of survivors. Our services extend beyond immediate needs. Alongside our community partnerships, we offer ongoing workshops in personal development, communication, and goal-setting to equip women with the skills necessary for rebuilding their lives.
Our commitment is rooted in the belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to recover, thrive, and regain control of her future. Through community engagement and public advocacy, we strive to raise awareness about sex trafficking and inspire systemic change.
