What is Big Day of Giving?
A program of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation's initiative to grow philanthropy in the capital area, Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour online giving challenge that brings together the region's nonprofit community to help raise much-needed unrestricted funds and shine a spotlight on the work nonprofits do to make the Sacramento region the place we call home. Since inception, these giving days have generated more than $104 million for nonprofits in the capital area.
When is Big Day of Giving?
Big Day of Giving 2025 will be Thursday, May 1, and will be made possible by the hard work of local nonprofits and the dedication of their supporters. To participate, please visit www.bigdayofgiving.org to support the causes you love from midnight to midnight on May 1, 2025.
