ConnectedBin develops and supplies IoT systems for smart waste management. Once (retro-)fitted with our sensor devices, the waste containers get "eyes and ears", which allow them to know what is happening with them (e.g. are they full or empty, are they on fire or being vandalized, etc.) They communicate wirelessly all this data to the cloud server. The system processes it and displays it to the user in a format that enables taking decisions - both operative (e.g. optimize the collection truck route or react to an incident) and strategic (e.g. where to place most efficiently the bins). By using ConnectedBin the waste management operations go from reactive to proactive. As a result time and resources are saved, while prompt and high quality waste management service is provided.
