ABOUT CONNECTING CULTURES Connecting Cultures is a Non-Governmental Organization registered since 2018 and since then it has carried out artistic projects both nationally and internationally. Transforming the traditional concept of development cooperation, understanding the promotion of artistic and creative capacities of people in vulnerable situations, especially girls, boys and young people, as a new form of development cooperation. The mission of the NGO is to develop the creative and artistic capacities of people in vulnerable situations, especially girls, boys and young people. To do this, it uses art as a universal language to achieve a more just international society, with special emphasis on the value of interculturality and human diversity. From Connecting Cultures we seek to collaborate with artists from all over the world, in order to develop exhibitions that allow us to give them visibility, but also help finance our projects, mainly those for the artistic training of people in exclusion. Our artistic exhibition arose from the combination of the arts and the concerns of the youth to make the world a little less unequal, socially more just and more humane. Since then, we have made every effort to be an example of how our differences should not be seen as an impediment but as a tool to empower ourselves and strengthen ties of solidarity and learning. We strive every day to connect people and cultures, to find common ground to better understand each other and cooperate for a more sustainable and resilient future. Showing how our differences that are so often put as a problem or an excuse are the opposite; a tool to achieve all our goals and bring great value to the world: - 1 artist per country - Balanced at the gender level - Intergenerational - Intersectorial Connecting Cultures will be a leading organization in international cooperation focused on the integral development of human beings based on artistic and creative education.
