Connecting Dreams Foundation-CVS Chapter, is a youth-led entrepreneurship initiative which put the effort to make people aware about how they can contribute to accomplish the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our Mission Endeavoring to create change by impacting uncountable lives. Our Vision: Empowerment of Children, Youth, Middle - Aged and the Old in India through social service and social entrepreneurship. Our Values: Celebrating the spirit of social service while creating a positive impact. Our Note - worthy Projects: Project Phulwari Project Phulwari from College of Vocational Studies has successfully turned 4 women into ‘Womenpreneurs’ by providing them with a livelihood opportunity. The team CREATED a solution to collect use and used dried flowers from temples and flower vendors nearby to create a ‘zero waste model’ business for production and sale of 'Potpourri' to be made and sold by these women. They have CHANGED the lives of 4 women by receiving more than 100 orders through their online and offline modes of sale. Collectively, they have generated a total profit of over Rs. 8,000/- with a 70-75% profit margin. Project Aashayein Project Aashayein, Acid on Face not on Dreams is a project in collaboration with Chhanv Foundation, a Pan India Organization working for the rehabilitation of Acid Attack Survivors. The Project aims to empower acid attack survivors by helping them in enhancing their talents & skills through various online & offline training sessions. Through Project Aashayein, CVS aimed at providing the acid attack survivors with a chance to enhance their soft skills, better their abilities and convert their dreams into reality.
