Connective is a Houston-based nonprofit, and our primary goal is to serve as a bridge between available resources and those in need. Our mission is to transform social services into a more connected, empathetic, and accessible system.
We collaborate with governments, nonprofits, and community organizations to make social services easier and more accessible for everyone. Our technology tools and resource HUBs help seekers of services navigate complex systems while reducing administrative burden from providers, untangling bureaucratic red tape.
Since the success of our pilot program in 2017, Harvey Home Connect, we have tackled complex local problems like recovery from climate disasters, financial pressures on low-income and historically marginalized people, and coordination struggles of local governments and nonprofits. We have facilitated the distribution of $550MM in COVID-19 rental and financial assistance, improved access to home repair and public benefits, and enhanced tenant eviction support.
