Connect Reading

Since 2003, Connect Reading has brought sectors together for mutual benefit. Creating connections and partnerships between the business, public services, education and charity sectors ... all with a vision to build a better Reading, for everyone. Put most simply, we connect our members to connect them with the right people and projects, positively impacting the local economy, the local environment and local community. In addition to Member Networking, a Resource Exchange and Lunch'n'Learn sessions, we also run flagship projects to enable our members -and the general public - to have a positive impact on our community and environment. These include The Giving Tree, our Easter Egg Appeal and the bi-annual Reading RESCUE. Our members can access: - The Resource Exchange (getting resources to places of need, reducing landfill and carbon footprint) - Access for business members to do a Team Challenge with a local member charity - Matching to appropriate local charity members for potential partnership bids and activities - Brokerage of resources (skills, training) between cross-sector member organisations - Representation of our members at numerous strategic level Boards in the local and regional area Get in touch with us at info@connectreading.org.uk to find out more
