North Wing is a student run medical magazine which was started at the University of Sheffield Medical School in the year 1935 and has since then been publishing issues in print. The academic year 2019/2020 marked a turning point for the publication because the first ever online issues were published. North Wing is supported by Page Publications which is a USA based publishing company backing medicine based publications. With an increasing online presence and the backing of Page Publications, North Wing aims to go national and increase the diversity and size of its readership and contributors. The magazine welcomes submissions from medical students, medical practitioners, clinicians and researchers alike and aims to reflect the most cutting edge developments in the field of medicine. We are in the golden age of medicine and we are constantly finding We accept articles for four sections in the magazine all year round: Featured Articles, Current Affairs, Inspiring Stories and Pioneering Research.
