Conservative Commonwealth Group

The Conservative Friends of the Commonwealth (CFOC) works outside of and independently from the Conservative Party to promote the interlinked aims and values of both the Commonwealth and conservatism whilst working to lobby the Conservative Party and conservative leaning parties in fellow Commonwealth nations to put the interests of the Commonwealth and our partners first. This is especially important as we embark on leaving the European Union and we shall lobby the government to ensure that our interests in the Commonwealth are maintained and expanded on post-Brexit. CFOC works from grassroots to Parliamentary level to build relationships and links with our Commonwealth Partners and to ensure that Parliament fully appreciates the role and importance of the Commonwealth.
