במטרה לתת מענה ניהולי-טיפולי הולם לצורך זה של משפחות ומטופלים, חברו יחד ארבעה מבכירי הרופאים בישראל והקימו את 'קונסיליום' – קבוצת מומחים בניהול אישי של מקרים רפואיים (Case management).
שירותי הקבוצה נועדו להתוות דרך קצרה ובטוחה אל פתרון רפואי אופטימלי במצבים רפואיים מורכבים של מחלה או בעיה רפואית מתמשכת ולהעניק מענה ניהולי-טיפולי הולם למורכבות הרפואית ולהתמודדות הרגשית .
פרופ' גבי ברבש, מומחה ברפואה פנימית, רפואה תעסוקתית ומנהל רפואי, ניהל את המרכז הרפואי תל אביב עד 2015 והיה מנכ"ל משרד הבריאות בין השנים 1996-1999.
פרופ' שלמה ברלינר, מומחה ברפואה פנימית והמטולוגיה, מנהל מחלקה פנימית במרכז הרפואי תל אביב (איכילוב)
פרופ' ענת גפטר-גוילי, מומחית ברפואה פנימית ובהמטולוגיה, מנהלת מחלקה פנימית א' ורופאה בכירה במרכז דוידוף לסרטן במרכז הרפואי רבין.
פרופ' יעקב נפרסטק, מומחה ברפואה פנימית, ראומטולוגיה ואימונולוגיה קלינית. פרופסור מן המניין בבית הספר לרפואה של האוניברסיטה העברית. ניהל את האגף הפנימי והמרכז לאימונולוגיה קלינית וראומטולוגיה וכיהן כסמנכ"ל למחקר ופיתוח בבית החולים הדסה בירושלים
