Founded in 2015, the FINDMED consortium brings together 16 Carnot institutes with one common and ambitious goal: strengthening the competitiveness of the French health industry.
The Carnot institutes are French academic research institutions dedicated to setting up collaborative research partnerships. The consortium gathers 7 of them dedicated to drug and health research: Pasteur Microbes et Santé, Curie-Cancer, Voir et Entendre, the Brain and Spine Institute, France Futur Elevage, CALYM and Imagine - and 9 more which provides additional expertises: Chimie Balard Cirimat (chemistry, formulation), Innovation Chimie Carnot (medicinal chemistry, bioproduction), Interfaces (robotic & informatic), IPGG Microfluidique (diagnostic), MICA (materials & medical devices), MINES (formulation), Qualiment (nutrition), Smiles (maths), and TN@UPSaclay (numeric science).
