We play an active role in the United Nations Global Compact Initiative and our efforts to minimise our impact on the environment are core to our business from product sourcing to internal business practices. In April 2012 The Consortium acquired West Mercia Supplies (WMS) from its 4 Local Authority owners (Shropshire, Hereford, Worcestershire, Telford & Wrekin) and was in turn acquired by Smith News Plc.
